Our approach
This website was designed to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2. That standard covers how pages sound in a screen reader, how they work with a keyboard and how they hold up at a larger zoom.
Several things were done to get there. A link or a button tells you its purpose in its own words. Nothing important is shown only as a picture of text. Photos have alt text. Forms label their fields and explain any error in plain terms. A keyboard alone can operate every control, and the item in focus is clearly marked. Colors were checked for contrast. The pages reflow for phones and zoom. Each page has headings in order, so screen readers can move through it.
Checks run in two stages. First, automated tests for accessibility go over every page; then each page is checked at a desktop width and a phone width. No change goes live before both are done.
Limits and feedback
We don’t claim that every photo’s description captures every detail. If any part of the site gets in your way, it’s a mistake on our side that should be fixed.
Report any accessibility problem by phone at (281) 984-6097 or by e-mail at contact@bellairerestoration.com. Each report gets a reply. Until the fix is in, we offer the information or service another way, over the phone or by e-mail.
